Angela Poe

Sous Chef

Originally from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Angela Poe has lived in the Walton County area since 2012. In late 2024, she joined the George’s team as a sous chef. Prior to that, Angela served as head chef at our sister restaurant, Edward’s, located in Rosemary Beach. 

A graduate of The Art Institute of Tennessee, Angela brings a unique blend of Southern roots and Korean heritage to her culinary craft. Her cooking is inspired by flavors and traditions she grew up enjoying, and both shine through in every dish she thoughtfully prepares. Angela’s favorite meal at George’s is the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich because it’s the perfect balance of sweet, spicy and salty. When she’s not donning her chef’s coat, she enjoys cooking simple comfort foods, especially Korean stews.
